I enjoyed making my 2 minute movie. Using iMovie is easy and makes a great product. I hope to use my movie as an introduction to my cereal project next year.
I really like using iMovie so I have enjoyed having the opportunity to play with it. I did learn how to import a PP slide. I had never done that before. I feel that I am getting better at timing things.
My favorite assignment so far has been the 2 minute video. I enjoyed playing with the live video I shot, adding music, and slides with text. It was fun to see it as a finished project all put together. The combination of video, music, and text really does make the movie interesting and fun to watch.
I like having the opportunity to learn about blogs and developing the site, it has been something I have thought about but was not sure how to set it up and find a reliable and easy site to use.
I would have to say that my favorite assignment so far has been learning how to edit photos with the Adobe Photoshop Elements program. Every year I make a video for my class using pictures from the year and I was always able to use transitions and effects, but this skill will definitely make my video more fun and exciting for my students. I would like to add that ALL of these assignements have caused me a great deal of undo stress for some reason--I think my brain has turned to mush since the beginning of this class and I feel like I have NEVER touched a computer before now. Kind of scary since I have been doing some of these things for years. I guess I never processed what I was doing before and now I am having to think--go figure--having to think--what a concept! :0)
I think my 2 min movie has been my favorite. I made it pretty quickly actually! The reason I like it is because it is something that I can use (and really already HAVE USED) in my class. My students love to make this and I get to use this now for my end of the year yearbook for 6th grade. I'm super excited and even better, my students get motivated to use it now too. Very cool.
I really enjoyed making my two-minute video. It took me awhile to get used to having so much going on at the same time, but in the end it wasn't that difficult. This is a tool that I could see myself using in the future.
I enjoyed making the 2 minute iMovie because I felt like I really took the time to learn how run iMovie. I know I have much more to learn about what imovie can all do. However, when I finished my 2 minute movie I felt like I had accomplished something good that I would be able to use in my classroom.

I enjoyed learning to use PhotoShop Elements. I love making slide shows for parents at conferences and the end of the year. I learned a lot of new ways to present the material to make it fun an exciting. I also didn't completely pull my hair out on this assignment. :)
I really enjoyed completing the 2 minute movie. I thought it was fun to incorporate video, music, and narration into a short clip for everyone to view. I enjoy doing these types of projects because we can reuse many of them in our own classrooms. Plus, when we do these with our students, it keeps them interested in what they are learning.
I liked learning more about PSE. I design all of my band's concert program covers. PSE will give me more options for creating and customizing my program covers. In addition, I enjoyed making the 2 min. movie as well. I will definitely put my skills to the task when I put together our end of the year presentation showcasing the band's senior class.
I enjoy using the Photostory software. I think that it is very quick and easy and can be applied in so many different ways. This is something that I don't have to spend a whole lot of time on to prepare, and it can be very effective.
My favorite part of the class so far has to be the 2 minute video. I think this would be really cool to show parents what we are doing in class. I would love to post monthly videos on my teacher website so that parents can check it out whenever they like. I had a lot of fun editing the video. I felt like a big shot movie producer with a lot of footage and got to edit it just the way I wanted. My students are anxiously waiting to view the video because they think they are big movie stars now.
My favorite assignment was the podcast assignment. After I got the hang of it, it was kind of fun to put it all together. Now I just hope that everyone is able to view it haha.
My favorite assignment so far has been the 2 minute movie. I really enjoyed having my students take part in it, and I loved working with all of the effects to really make it my movie. Once I finished it, I showed it to my students and they really thought that it was neat, or at least that's what they said!
My favorite project so far has been the article review because it was a more interesting way to review an article. Using the still shots in imovie was way easier than working with the actual video so that was a great start for me :)
I would have to agree with most of the others about the 2 minute video being my favorite assignment. It was good to create something for my classroom that I can use in the up coming years. It did take quite a bit of time to edit but it was worth it.
I really liked messing around with Adobe Photoshop. The simple photo editing that we had to do was very basic, and I would like to take it a step further and learn how to do some really cool things with photoshop. I am very in to photography, so I am definitely interested in learning more about Photoshop. I also enjoyed the 2 minute movie. My dad and I do a lot of videos for the family (with pictures from vacations, weddings, etc.) I have learned a lot from working with him on this videos, so it is fun to do videos that are related to my lessons as well!
I did it again - I posted to mine and not here. Sorry
My favorite assignment so far during this course has also been the most stressful. This was the imovie. The frustrating part was figuring out how to work between the world of MACS and PC's. The cameras, ipods and camcorders I used were the schools and they are all formatted for MACS. at home I have a PC. I had a hard time getting things to convert and spent an hour or more talking to technical support at dell only to find out, I couldn't switch files from quick time to a PC format - an expensive learning experience as it cost me $60.00. After finding this out, I then had to rely on a colleague to help me at school and even then ended up just borrowing a school's laptop to create my movie using a MACS movie maker instead of my imovie. However, once I got all the files onto one computer and in a compatible format the assignment was fun. I spent almost a whole day playing and testing my movie before I submitted, but it was such a great learning experience. Even though I am still very new at the process, I am going to introduce this process to my eighth graders today and together we are going to create book videos. Since I learn best by teaching something, I am looking forward to this process. IT will be stressful and I will probably have a few more wrinkles by Saturday, I am confident that my students and I can do this! I guess I'll find out by Friday. Wish me luck!
